Waggi Pedalboards: A solid, safe, gig-worthy solution for pedal junkies?
Featuring a unique Under-Railway-System
Waggi has announced a new line of handy pedalboards featuring an integrated cabling system and innovative two-stage design, which could help you get your favourite effects pedals to a gig with less hassle. Let’s see if this design brings anything new to the table,
Waggi Pedalboards
Each Waggi pedalboard has an easily accessible front deck, a spacious side deck and a folding upper deck that can be opened to provide additional storage space for power supplies and patch boxes.
The cable management system consists of the cables being routed through the “Under-Railway-System” and covered with the included protective and freely configurable “Raceways sections”. The Waggi has plenty of handy side, rear and bottom cut-outs to allow for different cable configurations.
Solid and Lightweight
Each Waggi is made of durable aluminium with a stylish stainless steel back panel and comes with a padded carrying case. It looks robust and aluminium should make it light for its size. The boards include all the velcro and screws you need to set up your portable effects rig, plus the gigbag has plenty of space for all your spares and tools.
I like the look of these. The three different sizes offered seem practical, well thought out and, most importantly, well made. If you have invested a whole heap of time and money on your pedals, using a sturdily built pedalboard becomes very important. Building a safe, useable set-up takes time and money, so it’s worth getting something durable and well designed. .
