This turntable will not only impress DJs, but anyone who enjoys listening to music on vinyl. Vinyl is making a comeback nowadays, and the Technics SL-1210MK7 is a top-of-the-range turntable.
(DJ) Turntable With Modern Features
The Technics SL-1210MK7 is based on the company’s best-known and most popular DJ turntables, but this modern model brings a number of new features to the table. These include digital motor control technology to adjust torque and braking speed in four stages for precise control.
Pitch control on the Technics SL-1210MK7 is also digital. Pitch can now effectively be doubled from +/-8 to +/-16. This makes the turntable much more flexible for mixing.
For the first time in the SL-1200 series, the MK7 also offers reverse play – for when you want to check your records for secret messages that only become apparent when you play them backwards. And when it comes to mixing, it gives you even more creative options!
Another cool feature is the ability to switch the playback speed not only between 33 1/3 and 45 RPM, but also to 78 RPM. Unlike the early 1210 models, the power and phono cables are easily interchangeable.

Employees of GEARNEWS, all participating companies and their family members are excluded from the competition.

I love everything technics. I still have my integrated 930 Technics receiver bought in the 1990’s. It powers my Bose 901 IV series. I wouldn’t listen to anything else. Hope Technics go back making Amp & receiver s again.

I have had my Technics Home Stereo since 1981 and I love it. I have taken care of it so that it looks like new. The receiver is made of aluminum and woodgrain, the deck is model RS-M205 silver face, my 1983 turntable SL-Q300 Quartz. It was simple to operate but had very good sound. Unfortunately it broke and I couldn’t fix it. I would like to have a new one to continue enjoying my vinyl records that I still have.
